Meaning of his names

Tim Richardson
I like names and words, so the name of my son was very interesting to me.
Xavier: Xavier has Arabic roots, and spread to the west via the Moors. It has been well adopted as a Western name, so that fusion of East and West appealed to us. I liked it because it started with X, and I always felt a special ownership of my first initial, T (as a child reading code-breaking books, I felt proud that T was the most common consonant in English, and I still navigate the sequence-number of letters near the end of the alphabet by their proximity to "my" letter, number 20), so I think it is good that Xavier will "own" the letter X, which I think is quite a cool letter; it has an important role in finding both buried treasure and unknown values. Tris suggested Xavier, and we both thought right away that it was a perfect name. Click on "read more" to read about his other names.

Tim Richardson
Xavier Timothy Ananda Richardson, our first child, was born on Jan 19 2004 (his due date, so we know for sure there is something he did not get from his mother) at 16:58, weighing 3.8 kg and 52cm long. He was born at St Jozef's, Turnhout, Belgium. Everyone is well. Tris and Xavier will stay in the hospital for a few days. Special thanks to Dr Steven van Calenberg and his assistants, and to the wonderful midwives of St Jozef's who were tremendously supportive, ceaseless in their activities and who still found time to explain exactly what was happening at each point. The phone number at the hospital is 0032 1444 4723 (a direct number) and she is in room 117. Visting hours are 14:00 to 20:00. Just look for the room number or Kraamafdeling. The hospital site is here (good for driving instructions):
St Jozef.
